The Washington State Jewish Historical Society invites you to our History Happy Hour 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting on Tuesday, December 11th at 6:30pm.

The meeting will include board nominations and elections, and the Meta Buttnick Award presentation. The 2018 Meta Buttnick honoree is Dr. Howard Droker, an individual who has dedicated many years of volunteer effort in support of the WSJHS. Tributes in honor of Dr. Droker can be made at this link.
The Stan Tobin Lecture Series will feature Jessica Jones, WSJHS archivist. Jessica will talk about the history and operations of the Washington State Jewish Archives, a joint collaboration between WSJHS and the UW Libraries Special Collections division. Come to learn more about our oral history program and how to research collection materials, and hear Jessica talk about her day-to-day as an archivist.
