Stella DeLeon
Stella DeLeon recounts her early life as a Jewish child on the island of Rhodes, the arrival of German forces, and the deportation of nearly 3,000 Jews from the island in 1944. She speaks in vivid detail about her imprisonment in Auschwitz, Dachau, and Bergen-Belsen, the loss of family members, her liberation in 1945, and her journey to rebuild her life in the United States.
