Six-Generation Family Trees
Led by Helen Stusser, this exhibit featured 77 distinctive family trees, many highlighting interconnected relationships within the community. Hosted at Congregation Ezra Bessaroth, the project invited visitors to delve into their heritage, with visually engaging exhibit boards crafted by artist Denny Warshal.
The exhibit attracted hundreds of attendees, many uncovering previously unknown family connections or meeting relatives for the first time. It subsequently gained coverage in The Seattle Times and was later reconfigured into 11 panels for display at the Stroum Jewish Community Center of Greater Seattle and other locations. Please note that as of 2009, the family trees displayed in this exhibit had not been updated.
