The Life of Pamela Waechter

This space serves as a way to honor the memory of Pamela Waechter z"l (1947-2006), an active and caring member of the Jewish community in the Pacific Northwest. Utilizing oral history interviews from people who knew her, a loving picture of her is painted. 

In 2007, the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle established the Pamela Waechter z"l Jewish Communal Professional Award, which seeks to honor "a professional at a Jewish organization who embodies the qualities of leadership and service that Pamela Waechter z”l brought to Jewish Puget Sound."
