Kenneth Alhadeff

Kenneth Alhadeff, born in Seattle, discusses his family’s deep roots in the city, including his grandfather Solomon Alhadeff, who worked for Pacific Fish Company and served as the first president of Congregation Ezra Bessaroth, and his maternal grandfather, Joseph Gottstein, who built Longacres Racetrack. He reflects on his Jewish education, experiences as a student at Washington State University, and his role in operating and eventually selling Longacres. Alhadeff also shares his civic and cultural contributions, including renovating the Bay Theater, producing Broadway shows, and working with Jewish Family Services.
