Ken Baronsky

Ken Baronsky reflects on his memories of growing up in Seattle and tells the story of his great-grandparents' immigration to the United States. His great-grandfather, Mendel Baronsky, served as mohel, sofer, and sochet to Washington's Jewish community.  Ken used archival materials, oral history, and research to write Zayde's Crossing, a novel based on his family's story.
