Submissions for Haggadah: Telling Your Story
Be a part of the historical record as we live through a major historical event. This project records our experiences and actions and is a Haggadah of our time.
Haggadah loosely translates to TELLING. Tell us your story.
The bonds which connect us as a society are changing, but our Jewish values provide a framework for us to persevere.
Some specific prompts and questions which you can answer - you can respond to one or more or something similar that is important to you:
- Describe a typical weekday day before the pandemic and how your day has changed since the pandemic.
- Describe a typical weekend before the pandemic and how it had changed since the pandemic.
- What was your favorite activity before the pandemic?
- What is a pleasant surprise activity you have learned since the pandemic?
- What is a guilty pleasure since the pandemic started?
- You should feel free to add anything else of significance related to you, your family, your community or your livelihood to preserve this historic time for our future generations.
Some specific questions for Students and Educators to consider answering:
- Are you a Bat or Bar Mitzvah student? How has your learning and plans been changed?
- Students: How has the interruption of your education affected you at this time? With your goals? Plans for the summer? Testing?
- Educators: How has the interruptions to your curriculum and routine affected your teaching? Connection with Students and fellow faculty? Evaluations?
- What have you learned from this experience?
- You should feel free to add anything else of significance related to you, your family, your community or your livelihood to preserve this historic time for our future generations.
