The Book Club of Washington is inviting members of the local Jewish community for a special presentation: 
Portable Homeland: Five Centuries of the Global Jewish Book
by David M. Schlitt the Judaica Project Archivist of Western Washington University.

Join archivist and historian David Schlitt for a peek into the newly acquired Judaica collection at Western Washington University. Numbering more than 3,000 titles, the collection spans 500 years and six continents and will be the focus of an upcoming exhibition, opening in late September 2019. Schlitt will reflect on how Jewish printing history sheds light on the larger intellectual, cultural, and religious experience of the Jewish people.
