Save the date! The Black Heritage Society of Washington State, Washington State Jewish Historical Society, and Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience are honored and excited to partner in the creation of this groundbreaking multi-community education and public program, Confronting Hate Together. The project involves these three organizations, working together to bring a portion of the “Confronting Hate, 1937-1952" exhibit to Seattle, localized with the region’s distinct stories and history.

Antisemitism is at an all-time high since it started being tracked by the Anti-Defamation League in 1979. Anti-Asian and Asian American and anti-immigrant violence and hatred has been on the rise since the 2016 elections and the COVID-19 pandemic, with anticipated aggravation through the upcoming 2024 election. Anti-Black racial violence continues to plague our nation. Education on the dangers of antisemitism, anti-Asian and Asian American hate, anti-Black racism and bigotry has never been more relevant. We need to learn from each other, hear each other’s stories, and continue to strive toward a world with no hate. This can only be done together.
