Tribute Cards:
Send a Tribute Card in honor of a special event or person or as a memorial, and help support the work of WSJHS. The minimum donation is $10. Please send your donation together with the requisite information, i.e., name and address of donor and person to be notified of donation, and the designated occasion, to the WSJHS office, 2031 Third Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121. A card will be mailed promptly to the honoree or the designated family member, and an acknowledgement will be sent to you. Click here to print Tribute Card.

Donating Material:
Call Steve Wright, Archivist at 206-543-1895 to set up an appointment for evaluation of your materials.

At the time of your donation, you will be asked to complete a Deed of Gift form that legally transfers the holding to the University of Washington and defines the terms of the transfer.

Although most donors have no need to limit access to collections of personal papers, the option of placing restrictions on access to a collection or a portion of a collection is available. If you feel that portions of your papers are too sensitive to allow current access to them, you may specify when the records are to become available.

Although all archival materials must remain on site, you and your family will always have access to the holdings you have donated.
